Hello Everyone. This article is not going to be your standard article. I'm writing this article like some of you write in a journal at night. I am hoping that this article will not be the last one for me, but the first of many for you all to read. Anyways, enough about the reason for this article...haha.
Things have been a little chaotic since May 10th when I left you all. My sister graduated on May 14th from college. On the 12th, my Aunt and Uncle drove 6 hours to be with the family for this event, so we were "catching up" with my Aunt and Uncle that whole weekend. After my sister's graduation, my mother and father hosted a graduation party where we had over 30 people in the house. It was a successful party and my sister was very happy with how her graduation day went.
Following my siter's graduation, my job searching started. I am happy to report that the search did not go on for too long. I have been able to find a job and have been working it for 1 week and 2 days...haha. It's a full-time job and I work 45 hours per week. I work only on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This is a standard work week and I'm happy that I have found a job that allows me to have Saturday and Sunday off. I start every morning at 5:30am. I leave for work at 7am and drive 1 hour to the business. I work from 8am-5:30pm and after work I get in my car and drive 1 hour back home. I work for a business called Abbott. If you are interested, you can go into www.google.com and type in "Abbott". You will find much information about the company that I work for. When I see you all in the fall I will give more details about the kind of work that I do there.
Besides starting my job and my sister's graduation, this past weekend my brother graduated from High School. His graduation was really nice. So nice, that I am trying to work with the school and get a copy of the ceremony and I will bring that DVD to you all next year. This way, you all can see what a traditional High School (college too) Graduation Ceremony is like. I will try my hardest to accomplish this as I know many of you do not understand what happens at the graduation ceremony. It would be a good thing for you all to see what happens. His ceremony was about 3 hours long, and was very sad for my mother and I to watch. My brother looked so grown-up it was hard for me to see him in an adult role. However, he deserved nothing but the best and on his graduation day, and he got the best!
Well, other than the two graduation ceremonies and finding a full-time job, things over here are the same. I miss you all very much and can't wait to see you!!!! I wish you all luck in your studying, but don't study too hard!!! I hope all is well with your families. I have been told that it is very dry in the ShangQiu and Northern China areas. I hope that rain will come soon so that those of you who are peasants and farmers can have a successful planting season. My parents say "hello" to all of you!!! Like I said above, I will be writing a few more of these until I see you all. So, I'm going to say, "talk to you soon"!!!
