Go have a look inside your wardrobe. Come on, don't be shy... have a look inside. Did you see a charming and magical new world inhabited by fauns, giants, dwarves, centaurs, unicorns, talking beasts and witches? NO?!?! Really? Oh well... I guess you're not lucky enough then. Don't worry. I tried looking in my wardrobe but I couldn't find such a wonderful world either. I was so disappointed!

Wouldn't you love to find such an amazing new world inside your wardrobe? I would! When I couldn't find this world, do you know what I did? It's a secret, so don't tell anyone... shhhhh... I watched the movie "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe"!!!!!! Why did I watch that movie? Ahhh!! Because there is a little girl in that movie called Lucy who, accidentally, DOES find a magical world in a wardrobe!! Wow!!

This movie will take you to the fantastical world of Narnia... a land where beasts can talk and where the king is a powerful, yet kind and humble, lion named Aslan. "The Chronicles of Narnia" starts with the four Pevensie siblings who are sent away from their home in London to a country home because of World War II. There, the youngest child, Lucy, mistakenly discovers a wardrobe that acts as a gate between their own world and the fairytale land of Narnia. Once a land of peace, prosperity and beauty, Narnia is now under the evil spell of the White Witch which has caused the world to endure more than a hundred years of winter. But, there is hope. The arrival of the Pevensie children and the return of the rightful ruler of Narnia - the wise and powerful Aslan - Narnia can once again be a world of eternal spring. But, can they stop the evil White Witch from destroying everything? Can they stop her from ruling Narnia forever? Watch the movie to find out...

Most of the actors in this movie are unknowns, yet the director has done a fabulous job in picking the right people for the right roles. Especially Georgie Henley who does a great job as the innocent, but brave, Lucy Pevensie. Tilda Swinton, the evil White Witch, has a sharp stare that will scare almost anybody. And let's not forget Liam Neeson whose voice adds a majestic touch to the wise King Aslan.

The movie "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" has been adapted from the book of the same name. Between 1950 and 1956, C. S. Lewis published a series of 7 books entitled "The Chronicles of Narnia", of which "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" was the first. These books have been loved by children and adults for decades and we finally have a movie that can satisfy the lovers of the original books. If you can, try and read the books too. Books are always better than their movie version.
